UPDATE: Based on nearly unanimous feedback from our friends who have listened so far, we have slightly rearranged the recommended listening order, moving your favorite songs to the beginning. Here are the final versions for all six songs on our new EP entitled "Monumental". All of them have had multiple vocal revisions since the early versions that you may have heard, they have been tweaked repeatedly, remixed several times and then professionally mastered. They are finally ready to be shared.
These are all recorded under the name "Digital Grey Orchestra" which my songwriting partner has used for years. He wrote the foundational synth instrumental parts (which were the inspirations for the songs) and created the cover art. I added lyrics, vocals and some additional instrumental layers. John's friend "thesickboy" added the electric guitar part to "Rain." Most of the songs have a retro-80's vibe. You may notice I have "re-purposed" some old lyrics for several of the songs. Please be open minded about the new 21st Century versions.
These 256k MP3 files are posted here in our NEW intended playlist. We have moved FLOW and MOVIE to the beginning of the list based on consistent requests from friends and family. We recommend you listen in this order your first time through.
You can enjoy these, or share them with a close friend, but please don't post them anywhere (or put them on BitTorrent). We will be having some CDs printed and will be putting them up in the iTunes Store, but that takes a couple months. Hope you enjoy this advanced preview in the mean time. Let us know what you think. I won't tell you which one is my favorite.
